PG&E + Slalom

While at Slalom, there was a strong relationship with PG&E. I was asked to create a brochure showcasing the work and teams that were partnering with PG&E.

PG&E Internal Site

The Ask

The client wanted a redesign of their internal Sharepoint site along with a new user flow and site IA. They wanted a custom design that was not straight out of the box.

The Process

We were a small team of two UX designers and a Sharepoint developer. We did a new site IA, new flows, stakeholder interviews and user testing on all devices.

The Result

We were able to deliver the new site IA, wireframes, updated visual design language and a new Sharepoint site that the client and teams were excited to use.

PG&E Mobile Apps

A library of tools, icons, typography and a style guide that had a queue of 75+ go mobile apps to be developed across all of PG&E.

The Ask

We were a small team with a scrum master, solution architect, salesforce developer and two UX designers that were asked to create a mobile app center for PG&E. They wanted a design system and resources to be able to build out apps for PG&E.

The Process

Working in agile, we established a list of 75 apps that various teams wanted available in a library to help them with their daily tasks. We did stakeholder interviews to gather the apps and then identify the top 5 that we should start with. We all worked together in sprints to create a cohesive system.

The Result

We created 5 apps that ranged from booking a meeting room, people finder, nesting birds locator, dangerous animal locations and a compliance reporting app. We developed a style guide that established the look and feel for the apps and a resource library to help build out future apps.

Decks and decks and decks, oh my!

Throughout my time at Slalom, I helped create numerous decks for executives at PG&E for a variety of presentations, videos and conferences.
