The Ask
We were asked to create a functional prototype for user testing that included a capable screen. With the design of the screens, prototype and user testing we were to generate a final strategic report with usability and functionality results.
The Process
Designed 56 screens to be placed in a prototype that our lead technologist developed. We used a raspberry p1 3 to run the UI on the prototype for functional screen interactions. We then created a script test and conducted user testing and video outputs to create the report.
The Result
We were able to create the interface design, had 8 successful testing sessions and outputted a findings report for the final design of the product to meet the CES 2017 introduction of the Kodak Super 8.
Screens for Kodak Super 8
The Lead UX Technologist and I needed to deliver a working prototype with a functioning screen for our usability testing. We worked together to ensure we had all the necessary screens for each scenario and feature that was tied directly to our testing script. I designed 56 screens in 3 days to be placed into our code base.

User Testing
The Lead Strategist and I scripted the usability test and interviewed 8 photography and film professionals. We conducted the testing, filmed it and iterated the screens on the fly for the next interviewee.

Report Kodak Super 8
We needed to compile a report to review with Kodak that covered our process, interview results from our sample set and cut the videos to match our key findings. The report was successful for Kodak to determine the feasibility and functionality of the product and user experience. The product was launched at CES.
